Sixty Eight North was born from our love for the North—and a deep belief in the power of place and storytelling. In 2023, we turned that feeling into something real: a retreat where others could experience the clarity, inspiration, and growth the Arctic gave us.
Here, we slowed down, reconnected, and began to truly listen—to ourselves, to the land, and to the stories passed down through generations. From hearing ancient tales around the fire to spending time with Sámi reindeer herders, we were drawn to a culture that has quietly shaped Lapland for centuries.
What began as a personal journey became a vision to share something meaningful.
We created Sixty Eight North as a place to feel at home in nature, to grow, reflect, and return to what truly matters—not through traditional luxury, but through presence, intention, and authenticity.
We believe travel should feel personal, grounded, and real. Every experience at Sixty Eight North is rooted in storytelling, connection, and authenticity—a chance to step into the lives, landscapes, and traditions of Lapland.
Whether it’s fishing with a local, spending time with Sámi reindeer herders, or sharing a quiet meal by the fire, you’re not just observing—you’re part of something meaningful.
We work hand-in-hand with local partners who generously open their world to curious, respectful guests. Because to us, this is what we believe travel should be—a shared story.
We promise more than just a stay—we offer a sense of home, a place to breathe, and experiences that stay with you long after you’ve left.
We are committed to providing authentic, tailor-made experiences that reflect the soul of Lapland. Every activity is thoughtfully designed to suit your pace, preferences, and sense of curiosity—never rushed, never one-size-fits-all.
We work only with ethical, local partners who share our values—those who care deeply for the land, its traditions, and its animals. From Sámi reindeer herders to small family-run farms and guides, we choose people who genuinely love what they do and invite you into their world with honesty and respect.
Animal welfare and care for nature are at the core of every experience we offer. We take pride in offering real, respectful encounters that honor the Arctic environment and the lives it supports.
