The private sauna and outdoor hot tub sit among the trees, with nothing but forest and open sky around you. Each wooden shingle was placed by hand using a centuries-old technique. On clear nights, you may even see the Northern Lights above.

How long is a sauna slot at Sixty Eight North?
Two hours. Each slot is held privately for one group of up to four. Booked alongside a cabin stay or on its own; you do not need to be an overnight guest.
How much does a private sauna slot cost?
€650 per two-hour slot, which includes the forest sauna, outdoor hot tub, plunge, and all the thoughtful touches set out in advance: water, snacks, towels, robes.
Can I book the sauna without staying in a cabin?
Yes. Private sauna slots are bookable on their own at booking.sixtyeightnorth.com/sauna-booking. Transfers from outside the retreat are available on request.
Is the sauna mixed, and do I need swimwear?
Each slot is private, so it is as mixed or as single as your group. Bring swimwear if you prefer; in a Finnish sauna, bare is traditional and entirely your choice.
Where is the sauna located?
At the edge of the pine at our retreat in Levi, Finnish Lapland, above the Arctic Circle.
